Game review: Garry’s Mod

Garry’s Mod is a game released on the 24th December 2004. Only 36 days after the launch of Half-life 2. Garry’s mod is a sandbox game which means basically its a space where you can spawn whatever you want and do whatever you want. This review has actually been long coming as it started when i bought the game on January 7th 2019. Shortly after i started playing it and since then i have accumulated 44 hours in total. I will now follow with a few pictures from Garry’s Mod that i took.

Part 1:Creations

A buggy with 3 people tied to the back and a seat on front and i’m just reminding you you can build this!

Another cool feature is when you take a picture you actually hold a camera.

Now that you have seen that now by far well I mean that’s just an expression but by a little bit wait for it i said wait for it Mods!

Part 2:Mods

Mods are basically a free addon made by the community on the steam workshop which means you can make a mod and they allow you to make custom content for the game like new cars, weapons and also npc’s oh did i forget to mention them? An npc is a non player controlled character. Really? Sorry im just changing that for older people who probably dont know what that means its in basic a character which you cant move but can move by itself and walk around freely and also attack, take damage, even kill you so there a friendly npc’s and enemy npc’s got that? Now lets carry on with mods sorry that took so long just making it friendly for older people who may not understand. And now for the next part Multiplayer!

Part 3:Multiplayer

A player can start a server on Garry’s mod which either anyone can join or only certain people they let in can join one thing to take into account is that they have voice chat so people can swear but if you still want to play online just mute other players which means you cant hear anything they say and servers can range from a town to a zombie apocalypse to even star wars where you can be the stormtrooper you always wanted to be all in all the whole game all together is 8/10 (see below for individual scores)

Part 4: The review

All together: 8/10

Single player: 7/10

Multiplayer: Six and a half

Age rating: 12
